Here we honor our past horses that are no longer with us.

Gwen

Our First Friesian Mare

Some horses change a program. Gwen changed our hearts.

Manda had always dreamed of having a Friesian mare, and from the very beginning she bonded with Manda in a way that words hardly touch. Her presence that was impossible to miss—quiet, steady, deeply calming. Anyone who met her felt it. She didn’t demand attention; she offered peace.

She was an extraordinary mother, devoted and gentle, raising many beautiful foals with patience and instinct. Watching Gwen with her babies was a lesson in trust and tenderness. Through them, a part of her continues on—her softness, her steadiness, her kind spirit.

Beyond the farm, Gwen shared herself with the world. She pulled wedding carriages and Christmas carriage rides, moving through crowds, music, and lights without fear. She was brave without being bold, friendly without being pushy. Gwen was so incredibly sweet and showed endless loyalty. People gave their trust to her immediately, and she never gave them a reason not to.

When we lost Gwen in 2025, the loss was profound. Heartbreak that we still struggle to bare. There was a silence where her presence used to be, a space no other could fill. She left behind more than memories—she left a foundation, a standard, and a love that shaped everything that came after her.

Thank you, Gwen, for choosing us. For your calm, your courage, and your heart. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, sweet girl.
